Overview
Command Post Technologies, Inc. is seeking a DoD SECRET cleared Systems Engineer with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience to join our team supporting the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) on the MK 160 Gun Computer System and Naval Fires Control Systems. The position is fully funded and in the second year of a five-year contract.
Responsibilities- Provide input/support in the requirements validation, operational conceptualization, and developmental testing
- Work within Model Based Systems Engineering principals using the Cameo Systems Modeler tool
- Develop alternatives to understand impacts to the architecture
- Support integration testing and the verification and validation of software releases
- Collaborate with other engineers to identify optimal software solutions
- Other duties as assigned
- A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline
- Three (3) to five (5) years of professional technical experience with familiarity of Naval Weapon Systems
- Robust knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodology
- Direct experience with the Cameo Systems Modeler tool and Magic Draw
- Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
- Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team
- Must be able to lift up to 15 to 25 pounds
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
- Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
