SDC is currently seeking an experienced Operational Documentation Specialist for classified operations support in Dahlgren, VA.

Secret or higher Responsibilities:
• Provide SSN Fleet Support
• Develop operating procedures for Fire Control Systems onboard SSN submarines supporting the SLCM-N weapons system
• Prepare and maintain: ◦ Programming documentation ◦ Systems operation documentation ◦ User documentation
• Translating business specifications into user documentation
• Plan, write, and maintain systems and user support documentation
• Apply standard concepts, practices, and procedures related to operational and technical Documentation.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Operational experience onboard SSN submarines
• Experience with Tomahawk employment while serving as FT2–FTCS

Education & Experience Requirements :
• Bachelor of Science (BS) or Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from an accredited college or university ◦ OR five (5) years of demonstrated knowledge and subject matter expertise in operational/technical documentation functions and applications ◦ OR U.S. Naval operational experience at the E4 level or higher Required Knowledge &

Skills:

• Knowledge and understanding of: ◦ Documentation processes ◦ Strategic, combat, and/or weapon system equipment ◦ Targeting documentation ◦ Operational documentation ◦ Training documentation
• Minimum five (5) years of work-related experience demonstrated:
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including: MS Outlook; MS Word; MS Excel; MS PowerPoint; MS Access; MS Project. ◦ Strong word processing and office administration skills ◦ Ability to prepare complex and detailed technical documents Specialized Experience Requirements:
• Six (6) years of concurrent specialized experience in three or more of the following areas: ◦ Operation of SLBM Fire Control Systems ◦ Operation of Tomahawk Weapons Control Systems ◦ Operating experience in SSBN Weapons Systems ◦ Direct fleet documentation support.
