Position: Network Engineer with Security Clearance
Amentum is seeking system engineering professionals with related education and/or experience to support systems and software development in support of the Navy and Marine Corps at Dahlgren, VA. You will be part of our growing systems & software engineering team and contribute to our diverse skillsets across multiple contracts in support of our Centers of Excellence. Network Engineer

Responsibilities Include:

* Supporting Marine Corps Training Systems.
* Designing, implementing, maintenance, and supporting of the network infrastructure supporting the USMC system.
* In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies, VMware virtualization, and scripting languages.
* Working independently and collaboratively to ensure the USMC network is secure, reliable, and performs optimally to meet the demanding requirements of the training environment.
* Being a self-motivated problem-solver with a strong understanding of network architecture and a commitment to continuous learning.

Minimum Qualifications:

* 5 + years' experience in computer/system networking.
* AWS tactical networking knowledge in BL9 or BL10.
* Cisco, VMware, and/or other networking-focused certifications.
* Programming or development experience with network configuration using SDN.
* Experience with network source code repositories for configuration management.
* Must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance (at a minimum, must receive/be approved for an interim Secret security clearance in order to start)

Note:

US Citizenship is required to obtain a SECRET Clearance.
