Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or related field
Experience:
6+ years
Become part of a mission-critical cybersecurity team as a Senior Systems Security Engineer, protecting the Navy’s networks and systems from evolving threats. You’ll lead vulnerability assessments, accreditation activities, and risk mitigation efforts.
What You’ll Do- Implement and monitor cybersecurity controls and best practices.
- Conduct STIG scans, RMF compliance checks, and accreditation documentation.
- Perform system hardening, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
- Collaborate with engineers, ISSOs, and stakeholders to maintain system security.
- 6+ years in cybersecurity engineering, preferably with DoD/Navy systems.
- IAT Level III certification required.
- Expertise in NIST 800-53, RMF, DISA STIG, and SCAP tools.
- Strong analytical mindset and commitment to cyber excellence.
