Senior Linux System Administrator

Insight Global is seeking a Top Secret Senior Linux Architect based in Dahlgren, Virginia, to drive the architecture and implementation of enterprise solutions leveraging Ansible orchestration and Red Hat Satellite. This Architect must possess an active Top Secret clearance, IAT Level II certification, and an active Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification on one of the two most recent Red Hat Enterprise Linux releases (RHEL 9 or RHEL 10).

Candidates with RHCSA may be considered with the expectation of obtaining RHCA within the first 12 months. This position requires 8+ years’ of Linux experience, including systems administration, configuration management, security principles, automation, and the ability to create and deliver scalable infrastructure solutions based in Ansible orchestration and Red Hat Satellite. This Architect must also have experience creating and deploying Ansible and Red Hat Satellite solutions, creating Ansible playbooks to automate processes, maintain compliance standards, and deliver advanced troubleshooting support.

Experience configuring and deploying file systems, software updates, tracking, and application installations in required. They must also be knowledgeable of security policies and procedures, such as DISA STIGS, Splunk., and VMWare. Strong vendor management, customer experience, and communication skill are important.

• RHCE certification (for RHEL 9 or RHEL 10) or RHCSA certification
• High School diploma
• 8+ years’ of Linux experience: systems administration, configuration management, security principles, automation, and the ability to create and deliver scalable infrastructure solutions based in Ansible orchestration and Red Hat Satellite.
• Experience creating and deploying Ansible and Red Hat Satellite solutions, creating Ansible playbooks to automate processes, maintain compliance standards, and deliver advanced troubleshooting support
• Strong vendor management, customer experience, and communication skills
• Understanding of security policies and procedures, such as DISA STIGS
• Understanding of Splunk, Service Now (or similar ticketing system), VMWare
• Experience configuring and deploying file systems, software updates, tracking, and application installations
• Strong troubleshooting skills with RHEL 8/9 OS and an understanding of TCP/IP configurations
• Understanding of DNS, Splunk, and SMTP
• Experience with cryptographic to install public key infrastructures (PKI’s) to manage, create and hold digital certificates

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
