Purpose: Valkyrie Enterprises has an immediate opening for a Training Systems Specialist to support the Surface Combat Systems Training Command (SCSTC) in Dahlgren, VA.

• Responsible for providing SME-level knowledge and training support to SCSTC Learning Standards personnel on the Navy's curriculum development and course conversion processes, using authoring tools which include CITRIX-based Authoring Instructional Materials (AIM I/II), Content Planning Module/ Learning Object Module (CPM/LOM), as well as Learning Analysis and Design (LEAD).
• Track status of curriculum conversions from AIM I/II to LEAD authoring tools for all SCSTC courses, coordinating with Rating Leads and the learning site SMEs; develop monthly course conversion status reports to be delivered to senior SCSTC leadership.
• Provide database user management support to SCSTC Learning Standards personnel for AIM I/II, CPM, LEAD and the SCSTC Training Scheduling System (TSS) account access and course permissions.

• High School diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of hands‑on experience with Military Learning Management Systems, Planning Process Methodology documents.
• Knowledge and experience with the PADDIE+M model, used for developing Navy training and education programs.
• Knowledge and experience with creating SCORM packages to move and track courses between different Learning Management Systems.
• Experience in reviewing training schedules, Navy Training System Plans, Planning Process Methodology documents, and Navy Enlisted Occupational Classification System.
• Knowledge of the Navy's Business Case Analysis (BCA), Front End Analysis (FEA), Job Duty Task Analysis (JDTA) in the development of curriculum; demonstrated experience in analyzing change recommendations and determining impact on system readiness and user functionality for both USN and FMS issues.

• Bachelor's Degree in related field is preferred.
• Knowledge and experience with Learning Management Systems; specifically AIM I/AIM II, CPM, LOM, and LEAD.
• Ability to apply knowledge and experience and perform course curriculum conversions.
• Ability to develop and deliver LMS training.

• Must have a DoD Secret security clearance or be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.

• 10‑15% minimal travel required.

• Subject to outside environmental conditions (extreme cold/heat), noise, vibration, hazards, atmospheric conditions (affect the respiratory system), frequently working in close quarters and/or functioning in narrow aisles or passageways.
