Software Testing Specialist

Overview

Amentum is seeking a Software Testing Specialist to test software and document testing results for our Naval customers at NSWC Dahlgren. The role is part of our growing systems and software engineering team and supports multiple contracts.

• Receive instructions and conduct software testing according to written procedures.
• Document results in detail and provide accurate test reports.
• Provide technical configuration notes, support, and guidance for media production and software testing.
• Ensure integrity and consistency of multiple CM Change Control Boards (CCBs).
• Provide CCB meeting support, preparing and providing agendas, minutes, notifications, and information packages.
• Track action and decision items.

• Bachelor's degree in a pure science field and/or 3 years of job-related experience.
• Excellent technical acumen with analytical ability and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of MS‑Office and integrated software applications.
• One‑year configuration management experience including data entry and report generation or similar collegiate coursework.
• Organizational skills and ability to perform detail‑oriented work.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET U.S. Government Security Clearance.
