Amentum is seeking a Configuration Management Support Specialist to support our Naval customers at NSWC Dahlgren. You will be part of our systems and software engineering team and will contribute to configuration management activities, interacting directly with customers and engineering personnel. While remote support is the norm, you must be available to report to Dahlgren as needed.
Responsibilities- Provide technical configuration management support and guidance.
- Produce media related to configuration management activities.
- Ensure the integrity and consistency of multiple CM Change Control Boards (CCBs).
- Provide support during CCB meetings.
- Prepare and provide agendas, minutes, notifications, and information packages.
- Track action and decision items.
- Schedule and coordinate periodic meetings with the software development team.
- Maintain status accounting records.
- Conduct special investigations, including periodic reports from the CM database.
- Provide summary impact statements as required.
- Receive, edit, and distribute reports.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent job‑related experience.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Proficient with MS Office and integrated software applications.
- One year of configuration management experience, including data entry and report generation.
- Strong organizational and detail‑oriented work habits.
- Ability to pass and maintain a SECRET U.S. Government Security Clearance.
- Valid Real r’s license and reliable transportation (rideshare not permitted).
