Description
We have an opportunity for a Configuration Management (CM) Analyst I/II. The successful candidate will assist with maintaining accurate lifecycle tracking of media assets, validating inventory records, and supporting data integrity efforts to ensure operational readiness and compliance with established procedures.
Responsibilities Media Tracking and Inventory Support- Assist with tracking media assets throughout all lifecycle stages.
- Support receipt, storage, shipment, installation, archival, and disposition activities.
- Ensure media assets are properly labeled, identified, and documented.
- Assist with maintaining accountability and traceability of inventory items.
- Perform routine ACCESS database updates and record maintenance.
- Enter and validate barcode numbers, generation numbers, minor numbers, and other required fields.
- Review records for completeness and accuracy.
- Support reconciliation of database records with physical inventory.
- Assist with identifying and correcting data discrepancies and anomalies.
- Support preparation of inventory and tracking reports.
- Validate data prior to submission or reporting.
- Escalate unresolved discrepancies or missing information to leadership.
- High School Diploma.
- Three (3) to Five (5) years or more of CM experience.
- Dependable, self-starter with strong technical skills and attention to detail, with an emphasis on accuracy.
- Proficient with MS Office tools, primarily MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to effectively communicate across all organizational levels, including co-workers, managers, and government customers.
- Ability to multitask, work well independently, and work in a team environment.
- Excellent organizational, task tracking, and follow-up skills.
- Prior Media, asset management or Library experience.
- Jira or Confluence experience.
- Experience in a classified work environment.
This position requires an active Secret clearance. To be considered for this position, an applicant must be a U.S. Citizen and hold an active Secret security clearance (or higher).
