Overview
Senior Customer Technical Support Specialist – location Dahlgren, Virginia; full‑time; clearance Secret; travel less than 10%.
Support the U.S. Navy’s Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division. Serve as a mid‑level IT professional handling escalated, complex technical issues that cannot be resolved by entry‑level and follow‑up support. Provide advanced troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network systems, and assist with equipment provisioning.
Responsibilities- Serve as a Help Desk Support II / mid‑level IT professional handling escalated, complex technical issues that cannot be resolved by entry‑level and follow‑up support.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network systems, and assist with equipment provisioning.
- Six (6) years of professional experience in Industry, Federal or DoD Help Desk Support.
- Experience using help desk tools such as BMC’s Remedy, BMC Helix ITSM, or Service Now.
- Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level III with a Tier 5 (T5) investigation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- CompTIA A+, Network+, MS-900, MD-102.
