Systems Engineer
Duties
You will manage the SPY-6 software baselines, overseeing risk management and handling the program management of the software's development, testing, and integration with the AEGIS and Ship Self-Defense System (SSDS) combat systems.
You will develop, coordinate, and manage technical requirements and engineering to enable life cycle support planning during all phases of the systems engineering process for the AN/SPY-6 Family of Radars (FoR).
You will serve as a Warfare Center recognized Subject Matter Expert (SME) to adjudicate and implement protection of critical information in accordance with policies and directives.
You will establish prioritization on future capabilities, spanning multiple projects.
You will lead and coordinate with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) on technical instructions and contract deliverables.
You will develop Statements of Work (SOWs) supporting source selection and overseeing software build plans to ensure releases meet capability and schedule requirements.
You will manage and track software execution and issue burn-down plans to ensure stability for ship testing and certification, while also reviewing test reports to identify and address emerging issues.
You will work closely with Dahlgren's system engineering and integration teams to maintain and upgrade software tools to meet operational needs.
