Software Configuration Management Professional
Amentum is seeking a Software Configuration Management professional to support our team at NSWC Dahlgren in Dahlgren, Virginia. This position will provide test bench support, software loading, configuration management, virtual server management, and hardware support. Software Configuration Management
Responsibilities Include:
- Maintain and configure test benches in support of test evolutions and events.
- Provide software loading and configuration management support.
- Support virtual server management activities.
- Provide hardware support as required.
- Identify, document, and control the functional and physical characteristics of configuration items.
- Configure and script Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments.
- Support virtualization activities.
- Support test development and execution.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of two (2) years of Configuration Management experience.
- Experience with Configuration Management processes and procedures required to identify, document, and control the functional and physical characteristics of configuration items.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance. (At a minimum, must receive/be approved for an Interim Secret security clearance in order to start.)
Note:
U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience configuring and scripting Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
- Experience with virtualization.
- Experience with test development and execution.
Compensation Details: $83K to $130K The compensation range or hourly rate listed for this position is provided as a good-faith estimate of what the company intends to offer for this role at the time this posting was issued. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, internal equity, market data, applicable collective bargaining agreements, and relevant laws.
