Position: Social Scientist - Intermediate with Security Clearance
Job Description What You Will Be Doing:
* Applying social science theories, research methods, and quantitative techniques to support modeling and analytic efforts.

* Assisting in the design, development, and evaluation of modeling techniques integrating social science, statistics, modeling and simulation, and GIS frameworks.

* Conducting research and analysis related to:

* Social network analysis (SNA)

* Spatiotemporal analysis

* Industrial and organizational systems analysis

* Behavioral and socio-cultural modeling

* Data analytics in support of intelligence applications

* Supporting development and refinement of graph-based models and methodologies integrating social science, statistics, and geospatial analysis.

* Assisting in implementing models such as co-traveler analytics, anomaly detection, and other network-based or statistical approaches as required.

* Assisting in evaluating algorithms and methodologies, identifying limitations, and recommending improvements to enhance robustness and efficiency.

* Conducting literature reviews to inform methodological development and ensure alignment with current research in social science and network analysis.

* Performing data cleaning, preparation, and exploratory data analysis on structured and unstructured datasets.
