Software Developer – Java and Python

Requirements

• Experience with embedded hardware product lifecycle (design, test, integration).
• Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout software (e.g., Altium).
• Skilled in writing embedded firmware for microprocessors.
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
• Bachelors degree in Software or Computer Engineering or a related field (Masters preferred).

• Translate high-level requirements into cohesive engineering designs.
• Perform trade-off analyses (risk/cost/benefit) for technical choices (e.g., microprocessor selection).
• Design and integrate custom electrical circuits and robust mechanical packaging.
• Develop C/C++ bare-metal firmware using test-driven development.
• Oversee all code management using Git Lab for configuration control.
• Conduct developmental testing and evaluation of solutions.
• Follow program configuration management and documentation protocols.
