Senior Software Developer; Java, Python

Requirements

Must have:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a software development role
• Proficiency in object-oriented design and methodologies
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities
• Capable of excelling in a dynamic, team-focused environment
• Availability to work on-site at Dahlgren Naval Base 5 days a week

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and test source code for the Tactical Tomahawk Weapon Control System
• Troubleshoot reported issues and provide root cause analysis
• Actively engage in all phases of the system development lifecycle (analysis, requirements definition, design, coding, unit testing, maintenance, and documentation), with a focus on software development
