SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified Software Engineer IV
.
Job Summary: SEACORP is seeking a full-time Senior Software Developer in Dahlgren, VA. This candidate will work with testers, software engineers, systems engineers and cyber experts from the Navy and Under warfare Center to analyze and decompose requirements, design software approaches, support integration and test, manage interfaces, and assess software deliveries. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, a creative problem solver and able to work effectively in a multi-team environment.
Experience with C++ and Java is required. Experience with LINUX/UNIX and Jira is a plus.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Key duties include analyzing and decomposing requirements, designing software approaches, supporting integration and test, managing interfaces, and assessing software deliveries.
QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent engineering/technical degree with a concentration in computer science courses.
Experience: At least 10 years' experience in software engineering, including problem analysis and resolution, requirements analysis and definition, design, code, and integration testing. Active Secret Clearance required.

- Proven knowledge and experience applying design patterns and object-oriented programming.
- Knowledge of container technologies and orchestration preferred.
- Experience with combat systems, control systems, QT, GPB, and AMQP is preferred.
- Experience with JavaScript and Python.
- Knowledge of GIT and SVN.
