Job Summary

Lead Weapon Control Systems integration, including software requirements, design, programming, integration, troubleshooting, and data analysis.

• You will conduct Weapon Control Systems system integration efforts, including developing software requirements and design, programming, integration, troubleshooting, and data analysis.
• You will provide leadership through mentoring, supporting the project software development processes, and collaborating across all functional areas within the organization and among external stakeholders.
• You will develop and write/code new or modify existing computer applications, software, or specialized utility programs following software assurance best practices.
• You will analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
• You will confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers, and others to design application and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements, and interfaces.
• You will correct errors by making appropriate changes and rechecking the program to ensure desired results are produced.
• You will modify and maintain existing software to correct errors, adapt it to new hardware, or upgrade interfaces and improve performance.

• Education:
  
  At least one of the following – a degree in computer science; or a degree with at least 30 semester hours in mathematics, statistics, and computer science, including at least 15 hours of differential and integral calculus.
• Secret security clearance.
• Experience in software development and system integration for weapon control systems or related fields.
