Substitute Part-time Day Care Staff

Lumpkin County Schools is seeking applicants for a substitute part-time day care staff. This position includes all day care staff duties.

Play a pivotal role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for the children in our care.

• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum.
• Supervise and engage children in play, learning, and socialization.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding, as well as changing diapers and supporting potty training efforts.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the childcare area.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child s day.

• Experience in a preschool or classroom setting with an understanding of early childhood development.
• Strong caregiving skills and knowledge of behavior management techniques.
• Ability to create stimulating and educational environments for children.
• Excellent communication skills and prior babysitting or childcare experience.
• Passion for working with children.

Reports to the Pre-K Director.

Salary: $10.00 hourly wage not to exceed 20 hours weekly.
