The Department of Management and Information Systems is one of the largest departments in the MCCB and includes majors in Information Systems and in Management, with concentrations in Business Leadership, Entrepreneurship, and Logistics & Supply Chain Management in the BBA degree program. The MCCB is an AACSB-accredited business school with over 4,800 students across five campuses. The College includes the Institute for Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation and the Truist Center for Ethical Leadership.
In addition to the BBA, the College offers undergraduate degrees in Technology Management and two associate degrees. Graduate programs include the Cottrell MBA, Master of Accountancy, and two graduate certificates. The international group of teacher-scholars provides an exceptional learning community to prepare students for their professional roles and to engage with business and industry in the region to foster economic development.
The Department of Management and Information Systems in the Mike Cottrell College of Business invites applicants for the position of part-time faculty in Management for the starting spring of . The successful candidate will teach primarily undergraduate management courses on multiple campuses and/or online.

Responsibilities- Use innovative teaching and learning techniques to provide high-quality management (Business Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Logistics/Supply Chain Management, etc.) courses.
- Engage in significant and sustained business activities (e.g., consulting) related to management.
- Engage with the business community to further the goals of the Mike Cottrell College of Business (e.g., connecting students to potential employers).
- An earned master degree in an area with a primary focus on management, with at least 18 graduate hours in management or equivalent, preferably from an AACSB-accredited institution, required at the time of hire.
- Recent substantive and significant industry experience relevant to the management field.
- Preference will be given to those applicants who have a record of excellent teaching and practice in management and commitment to business education.
