The Department of Economics and Finance at the University of North Georgia (UNG) is currently accepting applications for a lecturer position in economics for the academic year in the Mike Cottrell College of Business (MCCB).

Responsibilities- The successful candidate for this position must be eligible to teach economics at the undergraduate level.
- Quality teaching and student engagement are high priorities in the MCCB.
- Teaching assignments will include principles of microeconomics and principles of macroeconomics.
- Teaching may also include other economics courses, such as those focused on financial literacy or those in the economics minor.
- Knowledge of teaching and learning practices
- Knowledge of theoretical and applied concepts of economics
- Passion for working with students to develop their skills and expertise
- Oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a collaborative team
- Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours in economics or equivalent is required, preferably from an AACSB-accredited institution.
- Preference will be given to applicants who have a record of excellent teaching and commitment to economics education.
- Preference will also be given to applicants with significant industry experience relevant to the field of economics.
