Job Summary:

The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a federal work study student in the Communication, Media & Journalism department on the Gainesville campus. This position would assist the Director of Forensics and the UNG Debate & Speech team with administrative responsibilities and research.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as responding to emails, ensuring updated information on digital and print material, etc.
  • Ensure the debate & speech team meets deadlines for on and off campus commitments.
  • Help organized and carry out the team's weekly meetings and events.
  • Assist the team with research on communication theories and current issues.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Strong writing, research and cataloging.
  • Strong communication.
  • Time management.
Required Qualifications
  • Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.
