Job SummaryBiology Teaching Assistants will support learning in biology labs by engaging peer learners about lab activities and concepts and lead active learning sessions about course content.
Responsibilities- Engage in weekly training about pedagogy and course content.
- Attend designated labs and engage with peers about lab activities and concepts.
- Develop and lead designated active learning sessions for peers about course content.
- Show competency in the course for which they will be assisting (A or B grade) and be recommended by their professor.
- Show a desire for continued learning and engage with new approaches to learning.
- Be comfortable engaging with peers about course content and learning.
- Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.
