Job Summary

The University of North Georgia, Department of Nursing is accepting applications for a 12‑month, full‑time faculty member for the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing track. Preference will be given to candidates who have a doctorate in nursing and have academic teaching experience in a Bachelor of Science in Nursing program.

• Teach didactic, clinical, and laboratory instruction and conduct clinical site visits in regional health care settings.
• Teach undergraduate students enrolled in the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program.
• Maintain a teaching schedule that may require travel to clinical sites in the metro‑Atlanta area and North Georgia region.
• Fulfill expectations for teaching, scholarship, and service.

• Doctorate in nursing required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Current license in Georgia as a registered professional nurse required.
