Job Summary

Drives students in a safe and effective manner to on and off campus sites. May need to drive shuttle for special events off campus as needed. Provides courteous and friendly service to customers. Must be at least 21 years of age; have a valid Georgia drivers license with an exceptional driving record. Work schedule during summer semester is subject to change.

This position will also help with Parking Services needs when required.

This position is designated as a Campus Security Authority (CSA) and holds the responsibility of serving as a mandatory reporter for all Clery Act crimes.

Responsibilities
  • Driving shuttle vehicle to transport students from loading site(s) off main campus to designated locations on campus.
  • Making sure that all safety rules and regulations for transporting passengers are adhered to at all times during transportation.
  • Responsible for making sure vehicles are clean and in good working condition before transporting passengers. Conduct vehicle inspections each day and notify supervisor of any issues or concerns.
  • During times not driving vehicles, will work in Parking Services as directed by Parking Manager.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Customer service oriented and good communication skills.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Graduate or GED equivalent.
  • Valid GA Driver's License.
  • Requires three years of related experience

  • The proposed salary is: $14.76-$16.24 hour.
