The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a student assistant in the English department on the Gainesville campus.

• The student assistant will support faculty in the English Department under the direction of the Department Head.
• The student will perform various office duties such as maintaining the English Major Lounge, providing clerical support to faculty, creating and posting fliers for various projects, and updating the English Department bulletin board.
• The assistant will also work with our faculty social media coordinator to create and post news on our social media accounts.

• Applicants should have a working knowledge of Canva (or similar software) and MS Office Suite.
• Applicants should have impeccable writing and editing skills.
• Applicants should be proactive in seeking to support faculty and have the ability to manage their time.

• Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.
• Any major, not just English, can apply so long as they have the required skills.
