About the Position
Part‑Time Faculty – Information Systems, University of North Georgia – Multi Campus. Regular part‑time position.
Job SummaryThe Department of Management & Information Systems invites applicants for a part‑time faculty position to teach introductory and upper‑division information systems courses for business and information systems majors and minors, and general education IT courses. Candidates should demonstrate exemplary teaching, a strong publication record and research pipeline, and current expertise in their professional field. Quality teaching and student engagement are high priorities.
Responsibilities- Teach introductory and upper‑division information systems courses for business and information systems majors and minors, as well as some general education information technology courses.
- Engage with the business community to further the goals of the Mike Cottrell College of Business (e.g., connecting students to potential employers).
- Participate as an active contributing member of the service activities of the college.
- Perform other related duties as may be assigned.
- Earned master’s degree in an area with a primary focus on management, with at least 18 graduate hours in management or equivalent, preferably from an AACSB‑accredited institution, required at the time of hire.
- Documented record of excellent teaching and practice in the area of information systems, information technology, and related areas.
- Evidence of superior teaching abilities.
- Professional experience or certifications in specialized areas in information systems or information technology.

- This position is not supervisory.

- May travel 1%–24% of the time.
