Job Summary

The University of North Georgia is accepting applications for a Housing Coordinator. This position manages housing portal software from application, room selection, through housing contract completion. This position oversees housing appeals and works with special populations for room assignments.

This position is designated as a Campus Security Authority (CSA) and holds the responsibility of serving as a mandatory reporter for all Clery Act crimes.

Responsibilities
  • In coordination with the Manager of Housing Operations, maintain adequate reports of housing occupancy and billing history for internal and external requests. Ensure accuracy of housing and meal plan charges on student accounts including daily assessments between Banner and Star Rez.
  • Develops and builds the housing application process and reviews annually.
  • Coordinates the room change process for residential students each semester and communicates changes to current residents, Resident Assistants, and Residence Life Coordinators.
  • Maintain communication with special populations and related campus partners regarding room assignments.
  • Coordinates housing contract appeals committee meetings including student communication, collect information for appeals, and fee adjustments as necessary.
  • Assist with phone and email inquiries regarding housing contracts and room changes.
  • Maintain student housing files in Banner, Star Rez, Genetec/Persona.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Experience with Banner and housing mangement software preferred.
Proposed Salary
  • The proposed salary is: $21.20-$23.32 hour.
