SES Technology Student Assistant
The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for an SES Technology Student Assistant. The SES Technology Student Assistant supports the Director of Strategic Technology Initiatives and the Division of Student Engagement & Success by assisting with form building, data entry, and configuration across enterprise systems, generating routine reports, and contributing to data audits, cleanup, and mail-merge projects. This role also drafts end-user documentation and training materials, participates in user-acceptance testing, and helps maintain the division's technology knowledge base and help-ticket form library.
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, self-directed UNG student with strong computer literacy who can be trusted with confidential student and institutional data.
Assist with form building, configuration, and data entry across SES enterprise systems Generate routine reports and support data audits, cleanup, and mail-merge projects Draft end-user documentation, quick-reference guides, and training materials Participate in user-acceptance testing of new system features and configurations Maintain the SES technology knowledge base and help-ticket form library Maintain confidentiality of all student and institutional data accessed in the role Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Strong computer literacy and ability to learn new software platforms quickly Working knowledge of the Microsoft 365 suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Forms, Teams) Familiarity with UNG Connect or other educational technology is a plus Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Clear written communication for documentation and email Ability to work independently between supervisor check-ins Discretion in handling confidential student information
Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 Must successfully complete a background investigation prior to start (Position of Trust)
