Job SummaryThe University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Student Assistant for Facilities Services on the Blue Ridge campus.
Responsibilities- Perform custodial maintenance duties to include sweeping, dusting, mopping and vacuuming carpets/floors.
- Clean restrooms and empty trash.
- Maintain campus grounds, lawn care, flower and shrub care, pulling weeds.
- Provide event support by assisting with the set up and breaking down of events.
- Perform physical labor including but not limited to lifting, pushing/pulling objects up to 50 pounds, climbing and working from ladders and performing manual labor tasks for extended periods.
- Safely use cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Operate power hand tools, landscape machinery, and custodial equipment.
- Set up and break down tables and chairs.
- Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.
