Manufacturing Engineer

Satellite Industries is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to improve production of portable sanitation products. In this hands-on role, you will design and optimize manufacturing processes, develop work instructions and fixtures, and support new product introductions. Collaborate with operations, quality, and logistics to increase throughput, reduce waste, and improve safety. Analyze data to drive continuous improvement, implement Lean and 5S initiatives, and support field feedback from global customers.

Ideal candidates are practical problem-solvers who enjoy working closely with shop-floor teams and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Design, document, and optimize manufacturing and assembly processes for sanitation products
• Develop work instructions, tooling, and fixtures to improve safety, quality, and throughput
• Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean, 5
• S, and root cause analysis
• Support new product introductions and production ramp-up in manufacturing
• Analyze production data to reduce scrap, downtime, and process variability
• Partner with operations, quality, logistics, and service teams to resolve production issues
• Collaborate with suppliers on manufacturability and component quality
• Support training of production staff on new processes and standards
