Contract Nurse

We're seeking a compassionate and skilled Contract Nurse to join our team at Delta Homecare
- Georgia in Dahlonega, GA. As a key member of our team, you will provide in-home care to patients in their community settings, delivering personalized nursing care services and facilitating diagnostic procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled visits to patients at their homes, community, and resident settings, offering compassionate and personalized nursing care services.

• Conduct supervisory visits to monitor patient care and provide guidance to caregivers as needed.

• Liaise between the office, caregivers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.

• Assist in organizing patient physical activities and provide support as needed.

• Perform assessments, admissions, and insurance assessments, as required.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse through the Georgia State Board of Nursing.

• At least two years of general nursing experience, with current home care, medical, surgical, or critical experience.

• Comply with accepted professional standards and principles.

• Possess and maintain good physical stamina and mental health.

• Present a pre-employment physician's health clearance, including a negative TB skin test, and current First Aid & CPR certification.

• Must be a licensed driver with an insured vehicle in good working order.

• Excellent references from previous/current employers and/or professional peers.

• Ability to work independently, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
