The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a federal work study student in the Nursing department on the Blue Ridge campus. The position involves assisting nursing faculty with the maintenance of the nursing skills lab, simulation center, and performing some administrative duties.
Responsibilities- Assist with organization and restocking of supplies for the skills and simulation labs.
- Set up and clean up lab stations and simulation scenarios.
- Perform some administrative duties under the direction of nursing skills lab and simulation faculty, reporting to the BSN campus coordinator.
- Prior medical or simulation knowledge is not required.
- Pre‑nursing, pre‑med, or those interested in healthcare are encouraged to apply.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Be comfortable around medical supplies and simulated body fluids.
- Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.
- This is not a supervisory position.
- This position does not have any financial responsibilities.
- This position will not be required to drive.
- This role is not considered a position of trust.
- This position does not require a purchasing card (P‑Card).
- This position will not travel.
- This position does not require security clearance.
