Registered Nurse - Clinic

Location: Dahlonega, GA

Setting: Residential Treatment / Detoxification

Seeking an experienced RN or LPN to provide compassionate nursing care in a residential treatment setting. The role involves direct patient care, medication administration, monitoring for intoxication and withdrawal, admissions, assessments, documentation, and medically monitored withdrawal management.

• Complete admissions, paperwork, orientation, and required screenings.
• Conduct nursing assessments and document patient information.
• Provide direct patient care and monitor changes in condition.
• Monitor patients for signs and symptoms of intoxication and withdrawal.
• Administer medications as ordered and maintain accurate MARs.
• Provide medically monitored evaluation and withdrawal management.
• Perform TB skin testing and read results.
• Develop treatment plans addressing medical needs.
• Provide emotional support, education, and counseling.
• Communicate with physicians, staff, and outside professionals.
• Maintain a safe, hygienic, and professional environment.
• Provide direction to technicians during assigned shifts.
• Maintain appropriate professional boundaries.

• Active Georgia RN or LPN license.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year of medication administration experience.
• Experience with CIWA and COWS required.
• Opioid addiction/treatment center experience highly preferred.
• Ability to provide compassionate care in a substance-use treatment environment.

RN-to-Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:30, depending on activity.
