DescriptionShift- 2nd - M-F- 3pm- 11pm
Pay: $19/hr
Key Duties- Measure parts to verify correct length and dimensional accuracy using tape measures, calipers, and go/no-go gauges.
- Perform final visual inspection of all parts on all four sides for defects, dimensional nonconformances, and overall quality concerns.
- Identify, quarantine, and report visual defects, dimensional nonconformances, or missing components to Quality Technicians and Production.
- Ensure parts meet Stru Xure quality standards prior to packaging and release.
- Certify each job using a QC stamp to verify part accuracy and quality.
- Take final inspection photos and log required documentation.
- Ensure job documentation and labels are accurate and complete prior to shipment.
- Support quality operations and assist with additional quality duties as needed.
- Inspect, sort, and stage components to support production line readiness, verifying part identification, quantities, and specifications against job documentation.
- Wrap, tag, and stage finished parts in accordance with Stru Xure packaging standards.
- Verify strapping, edge protection, and packaging materials meet requirements to prevent shipping damage.
- Confirm all parts are properly accounted for, labeled, and staged on the correct skids.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area throughout all stages of handling and inspection.
- Support production operations and assist with other operator duties as needed.
- Train, mentor, and support Final Inspection Operator I team members.
- Serve as primary communication link between Quality, Production, and Shipping regarding inspection or packaging concerns.
- Lead resolution efforts for inspection or packaging issues, escalating as appropriate.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to identify visual and dimensional defects.
- Ability to use basic measurement tools (tape measure, calipers, go/no-go gauges)
- Ability to follow standardized work instructions.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Accountability for product quality.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years previous experience in an inspection or quality assurance role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with powder coating or metal fabrication, a plus.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 4+ years previous experience in an inspection or quality assurance role, preferable in a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with powder coating, a plus.
