Job SummaryThe University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a federal work study student in the Chemistry/Biochemistry department on the Oconee campus. The student will work a maximum of 20 hours per week and will be responsible for small office tasks such as making copies, delivering inter‑campus mail, and other miscellaneous tasks. General chemistry knowledge (Chem 1151, 1152, 1211, and/or 1212) is required for some lab setup and other various lab tasks.
Responsibilities- Perform various tasks to help maintain and clean the chemistry laboratory spaces on the Oconee campus.
- Set up chemistry lab course experiments, which will require some knowledge from prior chemistry lab coursework.
- Provide miscellaneous office/administrative support.
- Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.
- Prior experience in one or more of the following laboratory courses: CHEM 1211K, 1211L, 1212K, 1212L, 1151K, 1151L, 1152K, 1152L, 3441L, 3442L, or equivalent.
