Function as a cashier and/or stocker and act in a lead capacity in the absence of the store manager or assistant store manager.;
Unload trucks according to the prescribed process for the store; stock merchandise; rotate and face merchandise on shelves and build merchandise displays.;
Provide exemplary customer service; assist customers by locating merchandise; greet customers as they enter the store.;
Open and/or close the store under the direction of the area manager; monitor cash levels and perform bank deposits as directed; ensure cashier accountability and security practices.;
Maintain register countertops and bags; operate cash register and flatbed scanner to itemize and total purchases; collect payment and make change..
