Core Systems AdministratorJoin our team as a Core Systems Administrator and play a vital role in keeping our credit union’s core banking systems secure, reliable, and running smoothly. In this role, you will support core system operations, troubleshoot technical issues, manage system enhancements, and serve as a key resource for both onsite and remote users. WhatYou’ll Do
- Oversee the operation of the core processing system, operating systems, applications, and database management tools to support business needs.
- Develop and maintain procedures for hardware, software, communications, and user training across computer systems.
- Install, configure, and implement core system components, including upgrades and enhancements.
- Edit and maintain system configuration files for operating systems, applications, and communications with printers and peripheral devices.
- Analyze and resolve core processing hardware, software, and connectivity issues using diagnostics and troubleshooting best practices.
- Conduct ongoing system audits to maintain security, compliance, and data integrity.
- Create and deliver reports to support organizational needs and decision-making.
- Perform regular OFAC watch list scans of the membership base to support regulatory compliance.
- Manage multiple projects related to the core banking platform while keeping stakeholders informed and aligned.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for the core banking platform and provide mentorship to Core Systems Administrator team members.
- Perform other related duties as needed to support business operations.
