Qualifications:

Essential Functions:

Under the direction of the building Principal, will lead the custodial team in performing daily custodial activities an assigned location. Maintains buildings and adjacent grounds in a clean, orderly and secure condition. Knowledge of proper cleaning methods, including modern methods for cleaning floors, whiteboards, carpet, tile, furniture, walls and fixtures. Provide training and work direction, as needed. Knowledge of proper storing of equipment, materials and supplies.

Perform all aspects of the position following District safety guidelines and procedures. Knowledge of inventory management and basic record-keeping techniques. Perform various custodial activities including replacing light bulbs and tubes, replacing air filters, cleaning whiteboards and emptying pencil sharpeners and waste receptacles. Operate custodial equipment such as vacuums, mops, strippers, steam cleaners, small hand and power tools, buffer/scrubber machines and other equipment as assigned.

Clean and arrange furniture and equipment for set up/breakdown of meetings and special events in classrooms, multi-purpose rooms and other areas. Monitor inventory levels of custodial supplies and equipment and communicate inventory needs to assigned zone manager. Communicate with District personnel and outside agencies to exchange information, coordinate activities and resolve issues of concern, as needed. Prepare and maintain records and reports related to work orders, personnel and assigned activities.

Perform other duties as assigned by Superintendent or designee. Salary Range:
