Non-Exempt Primary Function:
Perform building inspections for proper energy usage including HVAC equipment and controls operation, power consumption, and water usage. Must be able to troubleshoot and make total repairs on select equipment. Must be adept with computer operations, programs, and procedures.

Qualifications:
Minimum of a high school diploma or GED BOX or equivalent certification preferred Must possess a valid driver's license, have dependable transportation, and have a good driving record Minimum of three (3) years’ work experience in HVAC or electrical fields with experience in equipment operations, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial and light commercial related equipment The Board of Education and the Superintendent may accept alternatives to some of the above requirements.
Essential Functions:
Perform building inspections for proper energy usage including HVAC equipment and controls operation, power consumption, and water usage Adjust HVAC operational controls as needed to maintain proper conditioning according to design parameters, occupant loading, space usage, or as directed Respond to District comfort complaints as they are received either via phone, online, or physical site visits Maintain, implement, and update the District's Energy Management Program Assist in the diagnostics and repair of various equipment types as needed Communicate problems/concerns with equipment to appropriate manager/supervisor Receive, enter, and maintain District Energy Request submittals Maintain accurate data and records Make recommendations which will improve job performance and/or equipment reliability as appropriate Work without constant supervision Complete all assigned work orders including special project work Maintain all tools and equipment used in performance of job responsibilities Maintain clean work site Complete all paperwork in a timely manner, obtaining proper signatures from the issuing administrator Estimate time, material and supply needs to complete assigned jobs Assist implementation of District wide initiatives to maintain or increase energy conservation Report immediately safety hazards which affect the welfare of students and district employees Other duties as assigned by the Superintendent or designee Applicants will be selected for interview.
