Pay: $14.00 to $17.00 per hour.
Commission: Earn up to 8% on transactions, potentially adding $1.00 per hour on top of base rate.

Entry‑level, full‑time sales associates in pawn store locations nationwide. The associate partners with the entire store staff to provide customer service on both lending and retail sides of the business. Responsibilities include greeting, engaging, and processing sales, loans, and other transactions. The role works with jewelry, general merchandise, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.
Full‑time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate is paid hourly plus commission based on productivity. Compensation varies by location, qualifications, and experience.
Responsibilities- Greet and interact with all customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Perform non‑management open/close procedures.
- Keep the sales floor clean, stocked, and display merchandise.
- Process sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Handle cash and negotiable items per established policies.
- Answer incoming calls according to company standards.
- Communicate legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers with respect and clarity.
- Partner with all employees to create a positive customer experience.
- Successfully complete assigned training.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Willing and able to lift or carry up to 50 pounds.
- Willing and able to perform duties for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, etc.) as required by law.
- Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearm certification.
- May be asked to assist customers outside the building or retrieve items from exterior storage.
- Minimum age: 18 years old.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team‑oriented.
- Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
- Basic math calculation proficiency.
- Cash handling experience preferred.
- Availability to work at multiple locations and flexible retail schedule (weekends, holidays).
- Computer literate; able to operate POS systems and common office equipment.

Commission Plan InformationCommission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers may earn 2–8% commission based on gross profit of personal performance. Details are provided during the interview process.
