Job Description

Dallas School District is accepting applications for full-time Special Education Teacher in the ERC at LaCreole Middle School. This position is for the 2026-27 school year.

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Applicants must have a current Oregon teaching license with Special Education endorsement.
• Knowledge of Professional Learning Communities preferred.
• Collaborate with parents, staff, and other members of the team to develop IEP's for each student.
• Experience managing IEPs and Behavior Support Plans.
• Participates in the eligibility process for individual students.
• Ability to manage individual student needs in multiple academic settings.
• Experience providing specially designed instruction for social-emotional/behavioral learning.
• Assess student achievement on an ongoing basis.
• Ability to direct paraprofessionals in a wide range of student ability levels.
• Ability to design and implement individual and small group instruction in a functional academic setting.
• Must be able to obtain SPED license withing 2 years.
• Signing bonus and additional SPED stipend.
