On call​/Part-Time Early Childhood Teacher

On call/Part-Time Early Childhood Teacher We are seeking a caring and dependable on-call/part-time Teacher to support children ages 6 weeks to 5 in a safe, nurturing classroom. Teachers help promote children’s social‑emotional, physical, and cognitive development through play-based and guided learning experiences.

Duties Include:

Provide daily supervision and maintain a safe learning environment

Support child development through play, structured activities, and routines

Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff

Track and communicate children’s progress to parents

Maintain a clean, organized classroom

Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines

Complete incident reports and maintain confidentiality

Be flexible with scheduling as enrollment changes

Qualifications:

Must be 18+ and enrolled in the Central Background Registry Must be able to provide R number

Ability to pass a drug test

Food Handler’s and Child/Infant CPR & First Aid (may obtain upon hire)
Meet state training requirements

One of the following:

ECE/Child Development credits (20 semester / 30 quarter)
Step 5 in Oregon Registry1+ year qualifying experience in a certified center or in home Degree or credential in Elementary, Special Education, or ECEPatience, compassion, and a love for working with young children

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and move throughout the classroom

Effective verbal communication in English
