About the Job
The Engineering Supervisor provides strategic leadership and technical oversight for the Engineering Division within the Public Works Department. This role is responsible for managing a team of professional engineers and technicians to ensure the safe, efficient, and sustainable development of county infrastructure, including roads, bridges, and drainage systems.
As a key leader, you will bridge the gap between high‑level policy and technical execution, ensuring all projects comply with Oregon Revised Statutes (ORS), environmental regulations, and county standards.
Work ScheduleMonday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Minimum QualificationsPossession of a bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited college or university and five (5) years of engineering/planning experience, or any equivalent combination of experience, education and training.
Required Special QualificationsMust possess and maintain a professional engineering license valid in the State of Oregon.
Must possess and maintain a valid Oregon driver’s license, automobile insurance, and have access to and use of a personal automobile as a condition of employment.
