Network Technician I​/II

Ascentec Engineering is hiring! We are looking for a Network Technician to join our team in Dallas, Oregon. This position will provide essential support for computers, applications, systems, devices, access, and hardware issues. The selected candidate will identify, research, and resolve technical problems while communicating and coordinating effectively at all levels. • Maintaining and supporting computer networks and related computing environments, including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations
• Providing user support and training for hardware and software issues
• Protecting data, software, and hardware by coordinating and implementing network security measures
• Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving hardware, software, and other computer, network, and system problems
• Safely replacing faulty hardware components as required
• Learning, developing, and using automation tools
• Consulting with network users about solving existing system problems

• Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions
• Understanding of network infrastructure and hardware
• Quick learner of new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and online resources
• Ability to troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewalls, routers, switches, controllers
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Dependable and flexible when necessary
• LAN and WAN experience
• Experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems and applications
