Position: Accounting Manager, Restaurant (In-Offfice 1 day per month)
Accounting Manager, Restaurant (In-Office 1 day per month)

LHH is working with a company in the restaurant space that is looking for a new Accounting Manager. In this position you will be a key member of the accounting department, contributing to the oversight of the organization’s financial health and operations. Reporting directly to the Director of Accounting, this role will involve managing financial operations, reporting, compliance, risk management, team leadership, financial analysis, audits, and communication with executives, partners, and other stakeholders.

This position pays 110K-115K + Bonus and offers a Hybrid work schedule (1 day per month in office).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day accounting functions to ensure accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to support the organization’s financial objectives.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analysis for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls to minimize financial risks.
  • Lead and manage a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to help achieve departmental goals.
  • Coordinate and support internal and external audits, addressing audit findings and recommendations as necessary.
  • Effectively communicate financial information to executives, partners, and stakeholders to support informed decision-making and maintain transparency.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of relevant work experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with MS Office 365/Teams, Google, Dropbox, and Zoom.
  • Experience in a related industry (e.g., restaurant, franchise, or national chains).
