Staff Accountant

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Dallas, Texas. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in transactions, and supporting the organization's overall accounting processes. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities:

- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.

- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently.

- Oversee invoicing activities and ensure timely processing of payments.

- Prepare and post journal entries to maintain the general ledger.

- Conduct bank reconciliations to verify alignment between company and bank records.

- Handle debits and credits accurately to maintain financial balance.

- Assist with corporate tax preparation and filing, including sales tax compliance.

- Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulations in all financial activities.

- Collaborate with internal teams to support audits and financial reporting needs.

- Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and recommend solutions. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in accounting or a closely related field.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.

- Strong knowledge of corporate tax processes, including sales tax and corporate tax returns.

- Experience in preparing journal entries and maintaining general ledger records.

- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.

- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy.

- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
