Senior Manager of Accounting & Reporting @ Distribution Firm

We're working with a High-Growth Consumer and Distribution Services Firm. They are seeking a Strategically driven professional within their Controllership team. This professional will be assisting Finance and M&A Teams along with Executives throughout their businesses. Will be responsible for all Corporate Reporting, Technical Accounting, Asset Acquisitions, and assisting with Audit.

Key Focus Areas:

• Assist with Corporate Accounting, Reporting, Technical Accounting, and transactions related to General Ledger, Quarterly/Year-End, Financial Statements.
• Creation accounting policies as well as revenue recognition oversight
• Assist with annual audit.
• Play an active role in evaluating, developing, implementing and documenting new accounting policies and procedures to respond to changes.
• Monitor and review all accounting processes to ensure controls.
• Develop, implement, and maintain processes and procedures for accurate and timely analysis of financial data, ensuring best practices.
• Forecast, monitor and track cash flow reports while identifying and evaluating variances.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is a must
• 5 years accounting experience out of Public Accounting and Manufacturing, Service Companies, or Distributions Industry also a plus
• CPA is preferred
• Very Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, Technical Accounting, Financial Reporting, Financial Reporting Systems and Revenue Recognition is needed
