Soni Resources is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist for a client of ours in Waxahachie, Texas. This is role is on site and contract to hire. Our client is seeking this position due to company growth.
As the Accounts Payable Specialist you will be responsible for:
- Process and code vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Prepare and process check payments
- Maintain and update vendor files and payment records
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payments and account status
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
You are the perfect match for the Accounts Payable Specialist if you have:
- 2–3 years of accounts payable experience
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, SAP, Oracle, Net Suite)
Compensation: $18 - $25/Hour
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications
