The Staff accountant works in a team environment and is responsible for accounts payable, bank reconciliation and various projects as assigned. This position splits time between two companies

• * * Sort and distribute invoices to various departments for payment approvals
  • Process weekly expense reports
  • Code and enter accounts payable data
  • Process weekly checks
  • Manage positive pay process for issued checks
  • Reconcile, code and process payments for several corporate cards and charge accounts
  • Manage and reconcile petty cash Correspond with vendors and reply to inquiries
  • Keep track of all Minol USA and Zenner vehicle registrations and records
  • Manage and process 1099s yearly

• B.S. in Accounting or equivalent work related experience
• 1 to 2 years in accounting or finance environment
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Analytical problem solving ability
• Ability to work well under pressure in order to meet various deadlines
• Strong work ethic with an emphasis on attention to detail and accuracy
• Great communication skills, oral and written
• Time management skills
