What You'll Do

You'll play a key role in the day‑to‑day accounting function, supporting accurate financial reporting and helping strengthen the company's financial foundation. Your work will include:

+ Leading portions of the monthly close process, including preparing and reviewing journal entries

+ Performing and reviewing detailed balance sheet reconciliations

+ Analyzing P& L and balance sheet activity to ensure accuracy and identify trends

+ Investigating discrepancies and proposing solutions

+ Supporting internal and external audit requirements

+ Maintaining the general ledger and ensuring data integrity

+ Recommending process improvements and cost‑saving opportunities

+ Preparing variance analyses and account reconciliations

+ Documenting and monitoring internal controls

+ Collaborating on cross‑functional accounting projects

+ Mentoring junior team members and contributing to a culture of learning

Requirements

What You Bring

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required)

+ 3+ years of experience in general ledger accounting (public, industry, or a blend)

+ Strong background in account reconciliations and bank reconciliations

+

Experience with accounting systems and general ledger software

+ Advanced Excel skills;
Power Query or Power Pivot is a plus

+ Familiarity with payroll and lease accounting is helpful

+ Experience in healthcare or multi‑location environments is a bonus

+ Professional communication skills and comfort working with auditors

+ Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data

Preferred but not required: CPA or CPA‑eligible

Software experience:
Net Suite is a plus
